Taking possession of an owner apartment means that the housing company takes over the possession of a shareholder-owned apartment for a period of up to three years. The procedure may be initiated on legal grounds. The shareholders’ meeting may decide that the housing company shall take over, preceded by a warning issued to the shareholder.
