Membership fees

The membership fee of the Finnish Landlord Association is €98 per year for individual members, regardless of the number of rental properties owned. The membership fee is tax-deductible from rental income, and membership includes comprehensive member benefits, legal advisory services, and landlord tools.

For both individual and corporate members, the membership fee is reduced quarterly during the year: from the beginning of April the fee is reduced by 25%, from the beginning of July by 50%, and from the beginning of October by 75% of the full annual fee..

The Finnish Landlord Association accepts individual and corporate members who approve the association’s purpose and who own residential apartments or business premises or who lease or sublease these spaces.

You may add one family member to your individual membership free of charge if they reside in the same address. Corporate members include e.g. companies, other types of corporations and estates.

The membership term is not fixed

Your membership is continuous and is automatically renewed for the new year unless you terminate it in writing. Your membership is terminated at the end of the year during which you have provided your written notice of termination to the association.  loppuun, jolloin kirjallinen irtisanomisilmoitus on yhdistykselle toimitettu.

Individual members

Individual members who have requested an e-invoice receive their membership fee invoice directly to their online bank. In other cases, invoices are delivered to individual members residing in Finland either by mail or e-mail. For individual members living abroad, the invoices are delivered by mail.  Users of OmaPosti receive their invoice within the service.

Corporate members

Corporate members who have provided their online invoicing information to us receive the membership fee invoice as an online invoice. If the online invoicing information is missing, the membership fee invoice is sent to the corporate member by mail. Corporate members may provide their online invoicing information to us by e-mail: toimisto@vuokranantajat.fi.

Electronic invoices

We are gradually making our invoicing fully electronic. We therefore encourage all our members to switch to electronic invoicing options (e-invoice, e-mail, online invoice).

Members may add one family member residing in the same address to their membership with no extra charge. This additional family member must be involved in rental activities with the actual member. You may add a family member to our roll of members at the time of registration using a form or later by contacting our membership services. This way both family members can use all of our services. Membership number is the same for both.

You may add a family member in the member information section on the member pages or by e-mailing your family member’s information to toimisto@vuokranantajat.fi. The required information is the same as it is for an actual member, ie.

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number

We cannot accept applications to add family members with a different postal address.

In a joint tenancy, where the co-owners reside in separate addresses and each hold e.g. a 50% share of an investment property, both must apply for individual memberships.

More information on our membership fees is available here.

Corporate members include businesses, other organizations, as well as estates. As a corporate member of the Finnish Landlord Association, you have all tools and membership benefits. However, some partners have limited their services provided for corporate members.

At the moment, the following membership benefits are not the same for corporate members as they are for individual members:

The membership fee for corporate members also depends on the number of rental apartments. Read more about membership fees.

Your membership is continuous and renews automatically each year unless you terminate it in writing.

However, if you are determined to end your membership, please do the following:

Your membership is terminated at the end of the year during which you have provided your written notice of termination. In other words, if you do not want to pay the 2027 membership fee, please send us your notice of termination by the end of 2026.

You can send your notice of termination by e-mail to toimisto@vuokranantajat.fi
or by mail to Suomen Vuokranantajat, Annankatu 24, 2.krs, 00100 Helsinki.
